Friday was supposed to be my last day on the Ericsson/ATT project here in ATL. Three years was a long time, but another vendor was awarded the work. So now I am praying that I can find another job quickly. Today is Monday and I have decided to fast today to make my prayers a priority. Especially during a job loss. I had wanted to start doing this anyway, this just pushed it to the front of the line in things I am now going to do. I pray the lord will continue to bless Renee and I like he always has, and I know that he will take care of us.
My two youngest were baptized yesterday and that was awesome to see. Now all three have made public professions of faith in Jesus Christ. That is so awesome.

Super Bowl!
What an awesome game. We had a great time at our house last night with some of my son's bible study group. In between playing basketball outside, we managed to watch some football. The game was awesome on a 9 x 12 screen!! I figured it was close to a 168" flat panel. Wasn't HD, but it was pretty darn close. We had a blast watching the game and eating all night. Went outside at halftime to play a little hoop and got the game on DVR back on schedule. I tried to keep it a little behind so as to be able to forward through any questionable commercials, especially if Go Daddy was advertising, and they indeed were. Commercials overall were pretty lame. The Doritos one and the Pepsi one whacking everyone got the most laughs from the boys. The game itself turned out to pretty good. When you are 4 minutes behind, it is nice to hit the 30 second skip button after every play to take you right up to the next snap and not have to listen to all the chatter from the sports casters. We were only about 5 minutes behind at the end.
overall, it was a great night with a great group of kids.
